Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Sr. Specialist, AI & Technical Upskilling to design and deliver scalable learning solutions for AI and technical skills across the organization. You will partner with stakeholders, HR, technology teams, and vendors to translate needs into clear learning pathways, assets, and measurable outcomes.

The role emphasizes instructional design judgment, curiosity about AI, and program execution discipline, with remote work options and global accessibility considerations.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in Corporate Learning & Development, instructional design, curriculum development.
• Designing technical training and supporting certification strategy for technical audiences.
• Foundational understanding of AI concepts, LLMs, prompt engineering, and responsible AI practices.
• Experience drafting storyboards for learning solutions in multiple formats (eLearning, ILT, virtual, blended).
• Ability to translate learning needs into practical solutions and collaborate across functions.

Responsibilities

• Execute development and implementation of learning assets with Training Operations.
• Use training tech to deliver scalable solutions.
• Support LMS strategy design, rollout, and measurement.
• Create processes for learning solutions, architecture decisions and operating procedures.
• Collaborate with HRIS and vendor partners to manage LMS updates and onboarding.
• Develop and maintain learning pathways, job aids, guides, and reinforcement resources.
• Translate AI and technical concepts into practical learning content for employees.
