REMOTE AI Systems Engineer - High-Performance Computing

This role is a remote position focused on designing, building, and optimizing AI infrastructure, with a salary range of $175,000 to $300,000 per year, depending on experience. The ideal candidate has over 3 years of experience in Systems Engineering, DevOps, or AI/ML Infrastructure, and at least 2 years in High Performance Computing.

The responsibilities include:

1. AI Infrastructure Design and Development: Design scalable AI/ML infrastructure, optimize pipelines, and integrate models using CI/CD best practices.
2. Model Deployment and Optimization: Deploy models across environments, optimize inference performance, and use tools like TensorRT and ONNX.
3. Systems Engineering: Maintain HPC clusters, develop monitoring tools, and ensure system reliability.
4. Collaboration and Cross-Functional Work: Align AI systems with product architecture and support AI research with data pipelines.
5. Security and Compliance: Ensure data privacy, security standards, and protect sensitive data.
6. Emerging Technology Integration: Stay updated with AI advancements and incorporate new tools.

Qualifications include extensive experience in systems engineering, HPC, cloud platforms, AI frameworks, and programming skills in Golang, Python, or Rust. A BS in related fields is required, with a Master's preferred.
