Qualifications

• Proven experience leading AI initiatives in a product, research, or consultancy environment.
• Deep understanding of machine learning, natural language processing, generative models, and data systems.
• Hands-on with modern AI frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, Hugging Face).
• Strong product sensibility: connect AI with user needs and business goals.
• Demonstrated experience managing and growing technical teams.
• Excellent communication skills with clients, executives, and cross-disciplinary teams.
• Passion for staying ahead of AI advancements with pragmatic deployment.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the AI roadmap for client-facing solutions and internal innovation.
• Work with product and engineering leads to design, prototype, and deploy AI systems.
• Oversee research into emerging AI models and translate into actionable product opportunities.
• Collaborate with business development to identify AI opportunities and articulate value.
• Build and mentor a team of AI engineers, researchers, and applied data scientists.
• Develop and enforce best practices for AI ethics and responsible deployment.
• Represent Utility externally as an AI thought leader through engagements and advisory sessions.
