Job summary

McDermott Will & Schulte is building AI-powered quality assurance for its legal technology initiatives. The AI Solutions QA Analyst owns the full QA lifecycle—from unit tests to CI/CD integration—working with AI Analysts and engineering to ensure every solution is reliable and production-ready.

You will design boundary and edge-case tests, use AI-assisted tooling to generate and evaluate test cases, and integrate automated suites into Azure DevOps pipelines with security and performance teams.

Qualifications

• AI fluency: actively use AI tools to generate and refine test cases.
• 4+ years of formal QA experience across full testing lifecycle.
• Strong experience with unit, integration, system, and regression testing (manual & automated).
• Hands-on experience integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines; Azure DevOps preferred.
• Design boundary and edge case tests for complex, data-driven apps.
• Knowledge of performance and scalability testing; load testing a plus.
• Defect tracking, test documentation, and quality metrics reporting.
• Strong analytical thinking — approach untested AI behavior like an engineer.
• BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Own the full QA lifecycle for AI-powered solutions—from unit and integration testing through system, performance, and scalability testing.
• Collaborate with Analysts to generate and evaluate test cases using AI-assisted tools, focusing on boundary conditions and AI outputs.
• Work with the engineering team to define and integrate automated test suites into the Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline.
