Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an AI Solutions Architect to enable product teams in shipping AI-native capabilities. You will embed with a solution team, co-building production slices around LLM features, agentic workflows, tool calling, and RAG on an AI middleware platform.

You will establish evaluation discipline and coach engineers and PMs to iterate after rotation. Success is measured by sustained production delivery of AI features.

Qualifications

• Shipped LLM-powered functionality to real users and handled production issues.
• Hands-on evaluation engineering with golden datasets and quality gates.
• Agentic architecture across tool calling, orchestration, and multi-step workflows.
• Experience with RAG, semantic search, and model routing.
• Proficiency with Azure, CI/CD, REST APIs and cloud-native services.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals with ability to learn new codebases quickly.
• Excellent communication of technical decisions to engineers and product managers.

Responsibilities

• Co-build production vertical slices with solution team engineers, including LLM features and RAG integrated with middleware.
• Own evaluation engineering with golden datasets and CI/CD quality gates; transition ownership to team.
• Design and build reusable platform capabilities on the AI middleware and guide onboarding.
• Decide when to use generative AI vs deterministic approaches.
• Support discovery through Catalyst-style programs from pain-point to first working slice.
• Implement model routing, guardrails, observability, and cost controls.
• Coach engineers and PMs on AI-native software patterns and tool design.
