Eliassen Group seeks an AI Solutions Architect to enable product teams in delivering AI-native capabilities. You will embed with one solution team at a time, co-building production vertical slices across LLM features, agentic workflows, tool calling, and RAG on top of an AI middleware platform.

You will establish evaluation discipline, design reusable platform capabilities, and coach engineers and product managers so teams continue to iterate after rotation.

Qualifications

• Shipped LLM-powered functionality to real users with production exposure.
• Hands-on evaluation engineering with golden datasets and rubrics.
• Agentic architecture across tool calling, orchestration, memory, and workflows.
• RAG and semantic search implementation in AI systems.
• Able to work with Azure cloud-native services and REST APIs.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals with coding contributions.
• Ability to learn a new codebase quickly (6–8 weeks).
• Clear communication of technical decisions to engineers and PMs.
• Preferred: Azure OpenAI, Terraform, LiteLLM, Langfuse.
• Preferred: Experience coaching product teams and discovery sessions.
• Preferred: Exposure to financial systems/payments.

Responsibilities

• Co-build production vertical slices with engineers, including LLM features and RAG.
• Own evaluation pipelines, datasets, rubrics, and CI/CD quality gates.
• Design reusable platform capabilities on AI middleware and guide onboarding.
• Decide when to use generative AI vs deterministic approaches.
• Support discovery and shaping through Catalyst-like programs.
• Implement model routing, guardrails, observability, and cost controls.
• Coach engineers and product managers on AI-native software patterns.
• Produce architecture notes, evaluation suites, and runbooks.
