Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Software Developer to design, develop, and deploy AI‑driven solutions that enhance collaboration, automation, and knowledge access across the firm. You will build enterprise‑grade applications using C#/.NET Core, Azure native services, and AI platforms such as Azure AI Foundry and Copilot Studio.

This remote role requires defining requirements, partnering with stakeholders, leading modern development with .NET8, and deploying cloud‑native services on Azure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of enterprise app development, AI implementation, or cloud engineering.
• Ability to work independently and resolve complex production issues.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Legal industry experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Defines, analyzes, and evaluates needs for AI-enabled solutions, automation, and collaboration technologies.
• Partners with stakeholders to gather requirements and design scalable, secure AI applications.
• Leads development using C# and .NET Core/.NET 8.
• Deploys cloud-native apps on Azure using App Services, Functions, and Durable Functions.
• Implements event-driven patterns using Azure Service Bus and async messaging.
• Builds AI-powered solutions with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, embeddings, and RAG pipelines.
• Develops secure APIs and backend services, with Dockerized workloads and CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintains observability, telemetry, and performance monitoring (Application Insights).
• Supports governance, security requirements, and documentation; provides technical leadership.
