Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking software engineers to design, implement, and support ambitious SaaS products and integrations. You will work with AI-assisted tooling and modern SDLC practices to deliver scalable services across multiple projects.

You will collaborate with product owners and senior engineers to translate requirements into technical specs, embrace QA and automation, and contribute to an evolving, AI-forward engineering culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or 5 years of equivalent professional experience in lieu of degree.
• 1–3 years of professional software engineering experience building and maintaining web-based or service-oriented applications.
• Solid grounding in data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, SQL/databases, REST API design, and SOLID principles.
• Experience with unit testing, mocking frameworks, and test automation.
• DevOps mindset: CI/CD pipelines, logging, monitoring, and SDLC operations.

Responsibilities

• Build innovative, performant features into our next-generation SaaS applications.
• Design, implement, test, and document services and components that scale across projects as shared modules.
• Embed quality across the full agile product lifecycle and own root-cause resolution of production defects.
• Write clean, maintainable code and uphold engineering standards (source control, CI/CD, automated testing).
• Translate user requirements into technical specifications and data-driven decisions.
