Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Cybersecurity Penetration Testing Expert to probe and stress-test AI-powered applications and infrastructure. This fully remote, hourly contract role lets you work on high-impact AI security projects with flexible hours.

You will perform penetration tests, assess AI/ML pipelines, and deliver clear reports with actionable remediation guidance. Candidates should be proficient with Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, and Kali Linux, and able to operate independently.

Qualifications

• Experienced penetration tester with offensive security principles (OWASP, PTES, MITRE ATT&CK).
• Proficient with industry-standard tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, Kali Linux.
• Solid understanding of web app, network, and API security testing.
• Able to think like an attacker and deliver clear, actionable reports.
• Strong written communication and independent work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Conduct penetration tests against AI-powered apps, APIs, and infra to uncover vulnerabilities.
• Identify weaknesses in AI/ML pipelines including prompt injection and model manipulation.
• Perform web, network, and API security assessments using standard tools.
• Simulate real-world attack scenarios from recon to post-exploitation.
• Document findings with severity, evidence, and remediation guidance.
• Evaluate AI-specific attack surfaces like adversarial inputs and data exfiltration.
• Stay current with AI security threats and improve testing methodologies.
• Work independently on task-based engagements on your own schedule.
