Job summary

Alight Solutions is seeking an AI Enablement & Governance - Security & Controls Lead to define, implement, and evaluate AI security controls across the AI lifecycle. You will bridge AI engineering, information security, privacy and risk teams to address model risks, data handling, and agentic architectures.

You will partner with AI Engineering, Third-Party Supplier Governance, Information Security, Privacy and Risk teams to identify control gaps, define practical requirements, and ensure secure

Qualifications

• 5+ years in information security, technology risk, or AI governance.
• Strong understanding of AI architectures, ML pipelines, and RAG.
• Ability to translate AI security concepts into clear controls.
• Experience working with engineering, security, privacy, and risk teams.
• Practical, risk-based mindset with strong judgment and detail.
• Excellent written communication; report-ready documentation.
• Certifications such as AAISM, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, AIGP are a plus.

Responsibilities

• AI Security, Policy, Standards & Guidance: define AI security standards for models, RAG, and agents.
• Translate security principles into AI-appropriate guidance and controls.
• Define AI runtime monitoring and incident response expectations.
• Ensure AI guidance aligns with evolving tech patterns and external standards.
• Contribute to AI governance policies, controls, and standards.
• Third-Party AI & Model Risk Support: set AI security expectations for vendors and managed services.
• Assess vendor AI security posture including data handling and incidents.
• Cross-Functional Enablement: advise engineering, product, privacy, and security teams.
• Provide pragmatic guidance balancing security with business velocity.
