Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking a senior security architect to define end-to-end security for AI/ML systems, including training, inference, and APIs. You will lead threat modeling, drive security reviews, and own the AI security roadmap across engineering, product, and research teams.

Remote role with travel to client sites as needed. Requires 12+ years in information security and deep expertise in cloud security, SSDLC, and AI threat vectors.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of information security experience with at least 5 years in cloud/platform architecture.
• Hands-on security for ML/AI systems including LLMs, training pipelines, and model serving infrastructure.
• Experience with AI-specific threat vectors: adversarial ML, data poisoning, model extraction, and prompt injection.
• Proficiency in cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) including IAM, network segmentation, secrets management, and audit logging.
• Strong background in application security, cryptography, and secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC).
• Experience leading architectural decisions in a large-scale engineering organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to explain complex security risks to engineers and executives.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end security architecture for AI/ML systems, training pipelines, inference, storage, and APIs.
• Lead threat model development for AI attack surfaces and security reviews for high-impact systems.
• Own the AI security roadmap aligned with product goals, compliance, and industry best practices.
• Serve as an authority on AI security decisions across engineering, product, and research teams.
• Embed security controls across the model lifecycle from data ingestion to deployment and monitoring.
• Promote zero-trust, least-privilege, and defense-in-depth across AI infrastructure.
• Translate AI regulations (NIST AI RMF) into architectural requirements and controls.
• Collaborate with legal, privacy, and compliance to meet policies and obligations.
• Produce executive-ready security assessments, risk summaries, and mitigation plans.
