Job summary

Vertex Elites seeks an experienced AI Engineer — Security to lead security for AI/ML pipelines on a full-time remote basis. You will design guardrails, conduct prompt injection testing, and enforce cloud security and DevSecOps standards across AWS/Azure/GCP.

You will collaborate with AI research, data science, and platform teams to integrate security into CI/CD, manage secrets, and deploy automated monitoring, ensuring data privacy and robust incident response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, cybersecurity, or application security.
• Specialization in AI/LLM security and secure MLOps.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and audit security controls for AI/ML applications.
• Perform threat modeling and red teaming simulations against LLMs.
• Validate OWASP Top 10 for LLM applications and secure cloud infrastructure.
• Secure CI/CD pipelines and manage API authentication and secrets.
• Configure and monitor SIEM/SOAR platforms for real-time security.
