Job summary

GuidePoint Security LLC is seeking an AI Security Engineer to join our North Central AI Security Practice. The role focuses on designing, implementing, securing, and operating generative AI security solutions for enterprise clients.

You will work across AI governance, LLM security testing, shadow AI discovery, and secure integration of AI services while collaborating with AppSec, Cloud Security, and IAM teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in security engineering with a focus on cloud and/or application security.
• Hands-on experience implementing AI security solutions for enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with cloud AI services such as AWS Bedrock, Azure AI Foundry, or Google Vertex.
• Strong understanding of generative AI concepts, LLMs, and threat modeling.
• Ability to produce client-facing security assessment deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Conduct AI security architecture reviews and assessments of enterprise platforms.
• Lead threat modeling for AI workloads and cross-application data movement.
• Assess AI coding tools and development environments for security risks.
• Provide guidance on secure integration of SaaS AI services into enterprise apps.
• Evaluate data security controls, RAG architectures, and encryption key management.
• Perform shadow AI discovery and evaluate guardrails across AI platforms.
• Develop AI security reference architectures and deliverables for clients.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, IT ops, and information security teams.
