Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group (CSAA IG) is seeking an Enterprise AI Security Architect to steer security in AI and cloud-native domains from the CTO office. The role focuses on translating cybersecurity strategy into reference architectures, standards, and guardrails across cloud, data, identity, and applications, while partnering with security and engineering leaders to embed security into technology strategies.

Remote-first role with nationwide scope in the United States, excluding Hawaii and Alaska.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 10+ years in cybersecurity, architecture, or related tech leadership roles.
• Ability to translate security risks into clear executive guidance.
• Experience designing AI security for cloud-native or ML environments.
• Experience securing on-premises or hybrid AI infrastructure including data pipelines and GPU-accelerated compute.
• Strong written and verbal communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead security architecture and design for AI and emerging tech across cloud, data, identity, and applications.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Security, and Engineering to integrate security into technology strategies.
• Review designs for security risks and provide practical risk-based recommendations.
• Define and evolve security architecture for cloud-native, AI, ML, data, and integration environments.
• Develop reusable security patterns and guardrails for enterprise delivery.
• Advise senior leaders on security decisions and translate risks into business terms.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and generative AI for responsible adoption.
• Influence governance, exception management, and technology investment decisions.
• Mentor architects and engineers to strengthen enterprise security practices.
