Job summary

CrowdStrike, Inc. is seeking an AI SDLC Engineer to advance agentic AI across the software development lifecycle. You will design workflows, optimize context grounding, and tune model routing to help engineers ship faster with controlled compute spend.

This role emphasizes building internal platforms, observability tooling, and measurable improvements in efficiency. A strong background in backend systems and Python/Go is required, with remote work options available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend/platform engineering experience, ideally with production Kubernetes systems.
• Hands-on experience building or operating LLM-agent infrastructure — harnesses, tool-integration protocols, subagent orchestration, or similar.
• Strong understanding of LLM application mechanics: context windows, prompt design, caching, and reasoning/latency tradeoffs.
• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.
• Comfort working from ambiguous, evolving specs.
• Go and/or Python proficiency.
• Experience building internal developer platforms, observability tooling, or cost/governance dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Design and build agentic workflows to automate SDLC stages from code generation to release.
• Improve context-grounding systems so agents resolve the right information on the first try.
• Tune model-routing so each task runs on the model best suited to it, considering cost efficiency.
• Build observability and quality tooling—dashboards, usage insights, benchmark suites—to validate agent activity.
• Establish internal benchmarks against real-world tasks to validate improvements empirically.
• Partner with engineering teams to turn high-friction workflows into automated, agent-driven capabilities.
• Contribute to responsible, effective AI adoption across the organization.
