Job summary

Mercor seeks a remote AI red-teaming specialist fluent in English and Portuguese to assess safety of conversational models. You will simulate jailbreaks, prompt injections, and misuse scenarios while documenting results for customers.

You will generate high-quality human data, follow taxonomies and playbooks, and clearly communicate risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Prior red-teaming or cybersecurity experience is required.

Qualifications

• Prior red-teaming experience in AI adversarial work or cybersecurity.
• Curious and adversarial mindset with tendency to push systems.
• Structured thinker using frameworks or benchmarks.
• Ability to explain risks to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Adaptable across projects and customers.

Responsibilities

• Red team conversational AI models and agents: jailbreaks, prompt injections, misuse cases.
• Generate high-quality human data: annotate failures and vulnerabilities.
