Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will roleplay live conversations with an AI voice model, score exchanges, and explain in writing what looked or sounded off, all remotely and on your own schedule.

At Outlier, your expertise helps shape how AI systems reason and improve. You will review and provide feedback that informs frontier research and real-world AI performance, with flexible hours and remote work.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication and natural conversational speech.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to replay or zoom in on outputs.
• Nice to have: pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
• Able to explain judgments clearly in writing.
• Comfortable making decisive judgments when both options have flaws.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based reviews.
• Eligible to work from listed countries (Australia, Canada, Ireland, United Kingdom, United States).

Responsibilities

• Hold live conversations with AI voice models and rank naturalness and clarity.
• Compare AI-generated images and videos and judge prompt adherence.
• Inspect outputs closely to spot issues like distorted anatomy, flickering, text, or audio-video mismatches.
• Rate outputs on adherence, quality, and realism and write explanations in English.
