Job summary

jobgether is seeking an AI Research Scientist 4/5 to drive cutting-edge generative AI, LLM, and recommender systems research in the United States. You will translate breakthroughs into scalable business solutions, develop robust evaluation systems, and lead research-to-deployment initiatives in a fully remote role.

The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end ML lifecycles, evaluate new techniques, and collaborate with researchers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to shape technical strategy

Qualifications

• Strong foundational knowledge in machine learning, deep learning, NLP, NLU, and text generation.
• Experience tracking and interpreting literature on LLMs and generative models.
• Expertise in one or more LLM post-training approaches.
• Experience leading ML projects from research to production.
• Strong analytical/problem-solving abilities with a research mindset.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams and set technical direction.

Responsibilities

• AI and generative model research: monitor LLMs and generative AI developments and translate into practical solutions.
• Model development and evaluation: lead end-to-end ML lifecycle including training and optimization.
• Text generation and summarization: improve summarization quality and develop evaluation systems.
• LLM evaluation and QA: design evaluators, including LLM-as-a-judge approaches.
• Personalization and recommendation optimization: combine content generation with recommender techniques.
• Production integration and deployment: integrate models into production workflows.
• Technical strategy and leadership: define roadmaps and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Research community engagement: contribute to ML community and collaboration.
