Job summary

Mercor is seeking an Evaluator for engineering / manufacturing / technical operations to join as a contract role focused on assessing AI-generated artifacts. The role is remote and requires strong English fluency, plus deep expertise in engineering/technical operations.

You will work remotely, apply domain expertise to identify errors, provide structured feedback, and help improve AI model performance while collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in Engineering / manufacturing / technical operations.
• Native or professional fluency in English.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, especially Slides.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated artifacts against domain-specific quality rubrics.
• Identify factual, aesthetic, and presentation errors.
• Provide clear, structured written feedback.
• Review and assess AI-generated work products for accuracy, rigor, and domain quality.
• Apply deep subject-matter expertise to grade outputs.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.
