Job summary

Outlier is seeking QA Coders to help make AI smarter by auditing AI-generated code and providing structured feedback. You will rate model responses, flag issues, and craft clear CS questions to push the models’ coding abilities. A Bachelor's in CS and production code experience are preferred.

Eligible applicants can work remotely from any location, with pay up to $34 per hour plus incentives. This is a freelance 1099 contract with flexible hours and ongoing opportunity to access AI tools and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or higher from a selective institution.
• Software engineering experience contributing to a live production codebase for a tech company.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in written and spoken English.
• Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code: read code produced by AI models and flag errors and quality issues using guidelines.
• Rate and rank model responses: score accuracy and instruction following to improve outputs.
