Job summary

SupplyHouse.com is seeking a Technical Product Manager - AI to own the strategy and execution of AI-driven initiatives across the business. This remote role reports to the Senior Director, PSI, and partners with developers and business stakeholders to discover, define, and ship AI solutions that create measurable value.

The role requires shaping the roadmap, coordinating with data science teams, and ensuring responsible AI practices while delivering customer-facing features and internal tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the AI product roadmap, spanning customer-facing features (search & discovery, personalization, recommendations, and agentic self-service) and internal tools (RAG-based co-pilots, content generation, workflow automation, and decision support systems).
• Partner with developers to scope, architect, and deliver AI solutions, from proof of concept through production deployment.
• Lead discovery: identify high-value AI opportunities by engaging with customers, business teams, and data; translate findings into clear problem statements and testable hypotheses.
• Write detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria in JIRA and Confluence with sufficient technical depth for AI/ML development.
• Design and manage experiments and A/B tests to evaluate AI feature performance; analyze results and drive iteration.
• Act as translator between business stakeholders and technical teams, articulating AI capabilities and limitations in business terms, and framing business goals in technically actionable ways
• Monitor AI product performance post-launch; define and track relevant metrics (accuracy, engagement, conversion, latency, etc.) and respond to regressions or emerging opportunities
• Champion responsible AI practices across all initiatives, including data privacy, model fairness, security, and quality standards
• Enable internal adoption of AI tools by developing documentation, playbooks, training materials, and demos for business teams
• Stay current on the AI/ML and bring actionable insights back to the roadmap
