Job summary

SGA Dental Partners is seeking an AI Platform & Security Engineer to design, build, operate, and secure its AI environment, coordinating with the Enterprise Architecture & Security team and other stakeholders. This role prioritizes guardrails, identity provisioning, secrets management, and PHI handling across cloud-based AI workloads.

Responsibilities include implementing automated scanning, agent evaluation, secure coding practices, and a self-service infrastructure to streamline AI adoption

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in software, platform, and/or security engineering with production ownership.
• Experience with HIPAA, PHI handling, and healthcare data governance is preferred.
• Strong ability to read and reason about unfamiliar code quickly.

Responsibilities

• Administer the enterprise LLM platform, including identity management and usage monitoring.
• Build and operate the AI integration layer, including sandbox and production environments.
• Establish secure development practices and PHI guardrails in the delivery pipeline.
• Lead technical remediation when sensitive data is found outside approved locations.
