Job summary

Lattice is hiring for a leadership role in its AI Platform team. You will steer a high‑caliber group of AI and software engineers, shaping the roadmap, architecture, and tooling for company‑wide AI quality, evaluation, and experiments.

You will partner with Product, Applied AI, Data Science, and Engineering to drive measurable improvements in AI quality and platform scalability, while fostering ownership and continuous learning within the team.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and growing high‑performing software engineering teams.
• Strong technical background leading teams that build AI infrastructure, AI-powered products with LLMs, distributed systems, or developer platforms.
• Experience building enterprise SaaS AI products where quality, trust, reliability, and scalability are critical.
• Proven ability to lead complex cross‑functional initiatives from strategy through execution with Product, Applied AI, Data Science, and Engineering.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to create clarity and influence direction in fast‑moving environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and grow a high‑performing team of AI and software engineers, developing them into strong technical leaders.
• Own the execution and delivery of the AI Platform roadmap, balancing near‑term product impact with long‑term investments.
• Partner with Product, Applied AI, Data Science, and engineering leaders to define how AI quality is measured and improved across Lattice.
• Lead the development of AI evaluation infrastructure, quality metrics, experimentation capabilities, observability, and tooling enabling AI product teams to build and ship AI experiences.
• Drive technical and organizational decisions that improve the scalability, reliability, and adoption of the AI Platform, empowering engineers to own architecture.
• Build cross‑functional partnerships to establish AI evaluations as a foundational capability accelerating AI development.
