Cribl, the AI platform for telemetry, is seeking a senior software engineer to help shape search and analytics for observability data. You will productionize AI integrations, prototype new features with product and design, and stay current with the latest AI trends.

You will work with distributed partners to deliver impactful surfaces that delight customers. The role requires strong full‑stack experience and expertise in TypeScript/JavaScript, plus backend languages like Node.js, Go, or Java.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building AI features end to end in production across product, backend, and model integration layers.
• Proven fullstack experience, including designing and scaling React-based UIs and backend services or APIs, with strength in backend and systems thinking.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript or JavaScript with experience in at least one backend language such as Node.js, Go, or Java.
• Experience building AI agent-driven product experiences, including conversational interfaces, tool-calling patterns, RAG, prompts, and guardrails.
• Experience with Model Context Protocols (MCPs), agent frameworks, orchestration layers, and integrating external tools and data sources into LLM-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Productionize, launch, and operate AI-based technology integrations into Cribl’s core products to solve real customer problems.
• Partner with product & design leaders to prototype and experiment with new AI features.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AI technologies and trends.
