Job summary

IDnow, a leader in digital identity and AI-powered solutions, seeks an AI Platform Engineer to design and optimize integrations across cloud platforms, data systems, and applications. You will architect AI workflows and build reliable IaC pipelines while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic European setting.

Based in Berlin/Munich, Germany or Rennes, France, the role blends integration engineering, DevOps, and AI tooling to advance automation and intelligent integration

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT Integration, DevOps, or Software Engineering.
• Hands-on GitLab experience including pipelines and CI/CD orchestration.
• Proficiency with Terraform and AWS deployments.
• Automation scripting in Python, Bash, or Node.js.
• Experience building and maintaining data integrations (APIs, ETL, messaging).
• Knowledge of MCP (Node.js) servers and deployment.
• Understanding AI/ML concepts and integrating LLMs.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable enterprise integrations across systems and SaaS platforms.
• Develop and optimize GitLab-based CI/CD pipelines for integration and automation.
• Use Terraform to provision cloud infrastructure (AWS).
• Create automation scripts to reduce manual overhead and improve reliability.
• Integrate machine learning services into workflows and data pipelines.
• Build AI-driven middleware in Node.js or Python to enhance routing and decisioning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Ensure security, documentation, and compliance across integrations.
