Job summary

Ampcus Inc. is seeking an AI Platform Engineer to translate AI reference architectures into secure, scalable cloud configurations that enable development teams to build and operate AI solutions in a regulated healthcare environment.

Reporting into the AI Platform team, this role will automate guardrails, enforce enterprise security, compliance, and governance, and collaborate with architects to deliver platform capabilities that empower product teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS, engineering, or related field.
• 5 years of cloud platform engineering experience, with 2 years on Azure.
• Hands-on with IaC (Terraform/Bicep) and CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Experience with AI/ML platform services and regulated environments (HIPAA/PCI).
• Strong security, identity, networking, and secrets management in the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Translate AI reference architectures into deployable cloud configurations across Azure services.
• Build reusable platform components and landing zones for AI delivery.
• Configure AI platform services (Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry, MuleSoft, Salesforce Agentforce) per standards.
• Implement policy-as-code, governance controls, and audit-ready configurations.
• Provide developer enablement through templates, starter kits, and documentation.
• Monitor platform health, cost, and reliability; assist incident response and runbooks.
