Job summary

Jopro is looking for an intern for a 10–12 week opportunity with DigiNEST, focusing on AI narratives and ethics. The role involves participating in reading sessions, contributing to a literature review, and drafting sections of a working paper on epistemic agency. Ideal candidates are students with backgrounds in HCI, media studies, cognitive science, or similar fields, and a keen interest in how AI shapes narrative identity. This position is remote with a time commitment of about 10 hours/week.

Qualifications

• Students with backgrounds in relevant fields are preferred.
• Interest in how AI systems shape narrative, identity, and self-reflection is essential.
• Familiarity with current AI research is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in weekly DigiNEST reading group sessions.
• Contribute to literature review and synthesis across HCI, media studies, and AI ethics.
• Help develop materials for the working paper 'Toward Epistemic Agency in Everyday AI Use'.
• Produce annotated bibliography entries on assigned readings.
• Draft a section of the working paper in your area of focus.
