Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to design, build, and deploy advanced AI/ML solutions that modernize mission systems. You will contribute across data processing, model development, MLOps, and integration of AI services into operational environments in a production-grade stack.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience developing ML models such as NLP or LLM, CV, deep learning, generative AI, or RL.
• Experience building AI/ML capabilities in a microservice stack.
• Production-grade APIs, microservices, or distributed systems experience.
• Proficiency with data processing libraries like NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn.
• Ability to deploy software systems in operational environments; CI/CD and containerization skills.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement AI/ML models including NLP/LLM, deep learning, and CV.
• Build scalable data pipelines for training and evaluation.
• Develop end-to-end production systems (APIs, microservices, automation).
• Integrate AI/ML into operational environments with security and reliability.
• Model optimization, versioning, A/B testing, and performance tuning.
• Apply software engineering patterns in Python/Java/Scala/Rust for distributed systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and document designs.
