Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking an AI Engineer to transform operational data into production-grade ML pipelines, models, and LLM-powered applications. You will design, train, and deploy AI/ML products and APIs, partnering with analytics teams to embed AI into existing tools for real-time decision support.

You will lead the AI/ML lifecycle, drive strategy with executives, ensure reliability on AWS, and deliver scalable data pipelines using Databricks architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field from an accredited college or university
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on AI/ML engineering experience building and deploying machine learning models and/or AI-powered applications to production

Responsibilities

• Define, build, and evolve AI-powered software products including LLM applications, models, and intelligent automation for supply chain optimization
• Package AI/ML models as robust, well-documented APIs for dashboards, applications, and workflows
• Collaborate with BI team to embed AI features into existing applications with NLP, predictive insights, and intelligent recommendations
• Provide hands-on AI/ML technical leadership for modernization, including prompt engineering, model evaluation, and experiment tracking
• Ensure AI/ML models deploy reliably to AWS with monitoring, logging, and performance optimization
• Translate requirements into a prioritized backlog of AI/ML products to meet timelines and business outcomes
• Design data pipelines with Databricks medallion architecture to feed AI/ML models and ensure data quality
