Job summary

Lyntris, a defense technology company, seeks an AI/ML Engineer Intern to contribute to AI-enabled software components and LLM-powered systems. You will work on design, implementation, and testing across dashboards, agents, and tools, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires CS/engineering fundamentals, knowledge of LLM workflows, and a drive to solve complex problems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or in progress in engineering, CS, math, physics or related discipline.
• Understanding of LLM-powered application development, including prompt engineering, tool calling, and RAG concepts.
• Proficiency with Java, Vue.js/React, and REST API.
• Passion for AI and ability to solve complex technical problems.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, implement, debug, and test AI-enabled software components and LLM integrations.
• Build and maintain reusable, reliable code.
• Create plans and estimates for software features.
• Collaborate with engineers and project leads to meet milestones.
• Produce documentation on software and system design and testing.
• Support cybersecurity considerations and integrated test sessions.
