Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will roleplay live conversations with AI voice models, compare images and videos to assess adherence to prompts, and write concise explanations of issues, all remotely and on your schedule.

Earn up to $18 USD/hr with weekly payments and flexible hours. Remote work from anywhere is supported, and contributors gain free access to leading LLMs for your evaluations.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to replay/zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have: pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
• Comfortable speaking naturally and thinking on your feet in realistic scenarios.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to make clear decisions when both options have flaws.
• Currently accepting applicants from: Australia, Canada, Ireland, United Kingdom, United States.

Responsibilities

• Holding live English-language conversations with AI voice models and ranking naturalness and usefulness.
• Comparing AI-generated images and videos and judging which follows the prompt better.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering, text errors, or desynchronization.
• Rating outputs across dimensions and writing a concise English explanation detailing observed issues.
