Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will hold live conversations with AI voice models, compare image and video pairs, and explain what’s off, all remotely and on your own schedule. Work from home or while traveling, with flexible hours and up to $15/hr.

You’ll help shape AI systems by identifying errors in outputs and providing written explanations, with additional incentives for top performers. This is a freelance, 1099 contract opportunity.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication and comfortable with everyday conversations.
• Strong attention to detail, patient, able to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have: Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Comparing AI-generated images and videos and judging which follows the prompt more closely.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio-video misalignment.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, and writing a concise explanation in English.
• Common tasks include evaluating images, videos, captions, and audio descriptions to ensure alignment with prompts.
