Job summary

Outlier is hiring detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will roleplay live conversations with an AI voice model, score exchanges, and explain in writing what looked off, all remotely and on your own schedule.

At Outlier, your work helps shape how advanced AI systems reason, learn, and improve. You will evaluate and provide feedback to turn frontier research into real-world performance improvements. Earn up to $18/hr with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Bachelor’s degree (or progression toward one) is preferred.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and discussing realistic scenarios in natural conversation.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.

Responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and rate naturalness and usefulness.
• Compare AI-generated images and videos and judge alignment to prompts.
• Inspect outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering, or audio-video mismatches.
• Write concise, English explanations detailing what was observed.
