Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will roleplay live conversations with an AI voice model, score each exchange, compare generated images and videos to judge which follows the prompt better, and explain in writing what looked or sounded wrong, remotely on your own schedule.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication and comfortable with natural everyday speech.
• Strong attention to detail and patience to replay or zoom in when things seem off.
• Nice to have: pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and describing realistic situations in natural conversation.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to make a clear decision when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and ranking naturalness, usefulness, and clarity.
• Comparing AI-generated images and videos and judging which follows the prompt better.
• Inspecting outputs closely, zooming/replaying to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering, or audio-video mismatches.
• Rating outputs across dimensions and writing specific English explanations pointing to what was seen or heard.
• Image evaluations: compare two AI-generated images for the same prompt and assess adherence to instructions and visual quality.
• Video evaluations: rank AI-generated videos against prompts or compare edited videos to source clips.
• Video caption labeling: write precise captions for first-person videos, editing from an AI draft.
• Audio/voice evaluations: rate naturalness and alignment to target voice.
