Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will conduct live conversations with AI voice models, compare image and video pairs, and explain inaccuracies in writing, remotely and on your own schedule.

We value strong written communication, attention to detail, and the ability to decide clearly when faced with imperfect options. Remote work with flexible hours is offered, along with access to AI tools.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and careful listening.
• Nice to have: pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
• Ability to think on your feet and discuss realistic scenarios.
• Experience writing concise, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to make clear decisions when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models and ranking how natural, useful, and clear each sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which follows the prompt better.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering, or misaligned audio and video.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism and writing a concise English explanation.
