Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media on a flexible, fully remote schedule. You will roleplay live conversations with AI voice models, score each exchange, and explain issues in writing to help improve AI systems.

Applicants should be fluent in English, meticulous, and capable of writing concise explanations. Bachelor's degree or above is preferred. This is a 1099 freelance opportunity with payments weekly, and international applicants are welcome.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with clear written communication.
• Attention to detail and patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Bachelor's degree or above preferred.
• Able to think on your feet and discuss realistic situations in natural conversation.
• Experience writing concise, evidence-based explanations or reviews.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which one better follows the prompt.
• Inspections of outputs to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio-video mismatches.
• Rating outputs across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a focused English explanation.
