Job summary

Remotebridge is seeking a Mathematics Expert (MSc or PhD) for a global, fully remote contractor role. You will tackle AI training tasks that require high-level mathematical reasoning, numerical methods, and Python automation.

Choose flexible hours (≈15 hours/week) and work across time zones. You’ll translate problems into reproducible computational procedures, validate results, and contribute to scalable workflows using Python and CLI tools.

Qualifications

• An MS or PhD in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computational Science, Theoretical Computer Science, or a closely related quantitative field; or
• A BS in Mathematics or a closely related quantitative field plus at least 1–2 years of mathematics-focused professional or research experience in top companies/institutions.

Responsibilities

• Solve and validate advanced mathematical and computational problems.
• Translate mathematical requirements into precise, executable workflows.
• Implement mathematical workflows using Python and command-line-accessible tools.
• Use Python to automate calculations, numerical experiments, parameter sweeps, visualization, and result validation.
