Job summary

micro1 is seeking a Legal Specialist (Microsoft Office User) to contribute to AI training and evaluation for legal workflows. This contract role focuses on designing realistic legal prompts, drafting and refining content, and scoring evaluations using Microsoft 365 tools.

You will work with attorneys, paralegals, and compliance professionals remotely, applying your legal expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Strong English communication and MS Office proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a legal role (attorney, paralegal, legal counsel, contracts manager, compliance specialist, or legal operations).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Copilot).
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Experience with AI training, data annotation, or evaluating AI-generated content.

Responsibilities

• Design realistic, multi-step legal prompts reflecting contract review/drafting, legal research, case analysis, discovery support, regulatory assessments, and client memos.
• Write, review, and refine legal content used for AI training and model evaluation.
• Help build and score legal evaluations that test analysis of statutes, case law, contracts, and fact patterns.
• Use Microsoft 365 tools, including Copilot, to produce legal deliverables and documentation.
• Analyze legal materials and AI outputs to provide clear recommendations for legal work product quality and AI improvement.
