SME Careers, a fast-growing AI Data Services company, seeks an English-language content reviewer/editor for a remote hourly contractor role. You will review AI-generated responses, draft high-quality explanations, and provide precise feedback to improve model outputs.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in linguistics or related fields, native-level English (C2), and experience with content style guides. Multilingual ability is a plus, and you will collaborate across time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, English, Translation/Localization, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Expert command of English (C2/native-level preferred) with minimum C1 proficiency.
• Multilingual ability in at least one additional language preferred.
• Strong grammar, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, and editing across registers.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to explain corrections clearly in writing.
• Experience applying style guides and enforcing consistency across content types.
• Reliable, self-directed, and able to work hourly remote contractor across time zones.
• Experience with AI data training, editorial QA, localization QA, or professional copyediting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Optimize AI Performance: Evaluate and rank AI responses for accuracy and relevance.
