Job summary

IXL Learning, the EdTech company behind Rosetta Stone, is seeking an Image Localization Editor for a remote, 6-month consulting engagement in the United States. The role focuses on creating and refining images for language modules using generative AI and the Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities include ensuring character/prop consistency, seamless sequence flow, and cultural authenticity across Japanese, Chinese, Korean, or Indian content while maintaining educational quality and design

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or related experience.
• 1-2 years' experience with generative AI tools, media production, or graphic design.
• Strong interest in using generative AI tools for visual asset creation and workflows.
• High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop.
• Understanding of Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or Indian culture and customs.
• Familiarity with linguistic conventions in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or Hindi.
• Excellent visual design skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and stay organized.
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest or experience in language education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Use generative AI tools and the Adobe Creative Suite to create and edit high-quality images for Rosetta Stone Sapphire language learning modules.
• Direct and iterate on generative AI image sets to achieve precise character and prop consistency across multiple poses and interactions within the same environment.
• Ensure seamless visual flow across image series by evaluating framing, perspective, and subtle state changes so that instructional sequences feel naturally connected.
• Review image assets, checking for Japanese, Chinese, Korean, or Indian authenticity, as well as general quality, accuracy, and educational effectiveness.
