Job summary

Symetra is seeking an AI Governance Analyst to join the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team. You will support the AI Governance Program, maintain governance documentation, coordinate AI risk assessments, and help ensure AI initiatives comply with internal policies and regulatory expectations.

The role offers exposure to AI governance, responsible AI practices, and collaboration with legal, compliance, information security, and data functions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant professional experience in Risk Management, Compliance, Internal Audit, Information Security, Data Governance or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Maintain AI governance documentation and framework.
• Coordinate AI risk assessments and AI use case lifecycle.
• Prepare governance reports, dashboards and materials for committees.
• Monitor regulatory developments and summarize key industry guidance.
