Job summary

Symetra is seeking an AI Governance Analyst to join the Enterprise Risk Management team in Bellevue. The role advances the AI Governance Program, maintains governance documentation, coordinates risk assessments, and ensures AI initiatives comply with internal policies and regulatory expectations.

You will collaborate with business, technology, legal, compliance, information security, procurement, and data functions to build expertise in responsible AI practices while supporting governance

Responsibilities

• AI Governance Program Support - maintain governance framework, policy, procedures, standards, and related documentation.
• Coordinate AI governance activities across business areas to support consistent application of governance requirements.
• Assist with AI risk intake processes, documentation, and lifecycle tracking of AI use cases.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and materials for AI Governance Committee meetings and other forums.
• Research emerging AI laws and guidelines and summarize key developments for the team.
