Worldwide Clinical Trials is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer (Finance Focused) to transform how Finance teams operate with AI-powered tools. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in finance, accounting, CS or related field.
• 2+ years building data-driven solutions with Databricks.
• 2+ years of LLM application engineering, including prompt/context engineering.
• 2+ years of Python development and full-stack delivery.
• 2+ years working with FP&A processes and monthly closes.
• Experience with governance of financial data platforms and SOX exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build AI-assisted variance commentary and close-checklist solutions from financial data.
• Develop experiences using Databricks Genie and governed data for natural-language exploration.
• Collaborate with FP&A and project finance analysts to improve efficiency and decision-making.
• Measure adoption, usage and productivity gains to demonstrate business impact.
• Create reconciliation capabilities while preserving human control over approvals.
• Deliver AI-enabled applications using Databricks, Python and modern LLM tech.
• Ensure governance by separating AI-generated recommendations from financial controls.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand close cycles, planning and reporting needs.
