DataAnnotation is a platform where 100k+ experts train the world’s leading AI models. The Finance Expert will stress-test AI-built financial analyses on real corporate scenarios, trace numbers, and craft defensible judgments that guide model development.

This role values experience in FP&A/strategic finance, clear writing, and strong three-statement modeling. Flexible, remote, project-based work is available with hourly pay and no degree required.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or strategic finance.
• Fluency with modeling: three-statement builds, DCF, and the accounting behind them.
• Clear written English: your explanations are the training signal.

Responsibilities

• Stress-test AI-built models on real corporate scenarios: three-statement linkages, DCF assumptions, and the working-capital logic underneath.
• Trace the reasoning to expose plugged numbers, broken drivers, and conclusions the model's own math doesn't support.
• Write the defensible analysis when the model falls short: honest assumptions, clear drivers, and a number you'd put in front of a CFO.
