Job summary

Productive Playhouse is seeking a Japanese AI Product Evaluator for a freelance, task-based engagement. You will interact with AI models to evaluate capabilities and safety, providing structured deliverables that inform model improvements. Tasks arrive in batches with the flexibility to set your own hours and work with other clients.

Remote work is 100% and open to freelancers outside the U.S.; pay is $24.00 USD per hour. You can start within 48 hours as the project evolves.

Qualifications

• Native or expert-level fluency in Japanese (Japan variety).
• Strong English reading and writing skills; clear communication.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Hands-on experience using AI models or large language models.
• Comfortable with both written and voice-based conversations and follow-up questions.
• Own smartphone/computer with reliable internet and web-based tools.
• Able to pass language proficiency and technical literacy assessment.
• Responsive communicator with quick onboarding.
• Able to start within 48 hours.

Responsibilities

• Interact directly with AI models to test and evaluate capabilities, safety, and usefulness.
• Provide structured evaluations and data via deliverables (write-ups, ratings, screenshots or recordings).
• Work in iterations; tasks arrive in batches and may pause between rounds.
