Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will roleplay live conversations with an AI voice model, score exchanges for naturalness and clarity, and explain in writing what looked off, all remotely and on your own schedule.

At Outlier, your work helps shape how AI systems reason, learn, and improve. You’ll review media, identify issues, and provide written explanations to guide improvements, with flexible hours and remote work.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with strong written communication.
• Great attention to detail and ability to replay or zoom in to spot issues.
• Nice to have: pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and discussing realistic scenarios naturally.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to make clear decisions when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and rate how natural, useful, and clear each response sounds.
• Compare AI-generated images and videos and judge which follows the prompt better.
• Inspect outputs closely (zoom, replay) to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering, text errors, or mismatched audio.
• Write a concise explanation in English detailing what you saw or heard and why a choice was made.
