Job summary

Prolific is seeking an AI & Machine Learning Engineer to join our Expert Network to train and evaluate next‑gen LLMs with deep technical expertise. A quick 10– to 15‑minute test may precede an invitation to join Prolific as a paid participant.

Applicants should have ML production experience, familiarity with transformers, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and prompt engineering. Tasks are paid, with many requiring an hour of dedicated work, potentially from home.

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, AI, Robotics, or related quantitative field with ML focus.
• Experience building, deploying, or fine‑tuning ML models in production.
• Professional-level understanding of neural architectures (Transformers, CNNs, RNNs) and optimization techniques.
• Hands‑on experience with Prompt Engineering, RLHF, or RAG workflows.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate LLM architecture logic and technical explanations.
• Audit ML code and notebooks for efficiency and correctness.
• Refine RLHF frameworks to align models with human intent and safety.
• Analyze model reasoning and CoT prompts for breakdowns in reasoning.
• Benchmark model outputs using technical taxonomies and metrics.
