Job summary

GovCIO is hiring a Software Engineer – AI Applications & ServiceNow to design, build, deploy, and operate secure AI-enabled applications within U.S. government cloud environments.

You will integrate AI services with enterprise apps and data, and develop ServiceNow solutions to support secure, scalable enterprise operations. The role requires hands-on engineering in FedRAMP Moderate/High environments, strong SDLC/DevSecOps practices, and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5-8 years of software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience developing AI-enabled or generative AI applications for production use.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, web apps, or distributed architectures.
• Experience deploying and operating applications in cloud environments with FedRAMP/GCC High requirements.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Government Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain AI-enabled enterprise applications.
• Integrate AI services with enterprise data sources and workflows.
• Develop ServiceNow solutions and integrations with external AI services.
• Implement secure software practices, CI/CD, and SSDLC in federal environments.
• Produce technical documentation and support security assessments.
