Job summary

Church & Dwight is seeking an AI Engineer to join the R&D Agentic Pod, focusing on large language models and generative AI. You will build reliable retrieval-augmented generation systems, agentic workflows, orchestration, and production integrations for enterprise use.

You will collaborate with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Data Science, and platform teams from prototype to deployment, with a strong emphasis on security, scalability, and cost-aware performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, AI, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical discipline.
• 3+ years in software/ML/AI/data engineering.
• Hands-on experience building LLM/generative AI apps and production prompts, tooling, evaluation, monitoring.
• Experience building enterprise RAG with vector databases, embeddings, retrieval, grounding, source attribution.
• Experience with agent frameworks, workflow orchestration, routing, memory, human-in-the-loop controls.
• Proficiency in Python, REST APIs and SDKs, cloud AI services, source control, automated testing, authentication and authorization.

Responsibilities

• Translate R&D needs into secure, scalable AI products with enterprise data and human oversight.
• Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain LLM/generative AI apps, agentic workflows, and orchestration patterns.
