CovertSwarm Inc. is seeking an AI Engineer to design, build, and improve AI systems that support real offensive security work. You will develop production-grade backends, APIs, and interfaces that empower consultants, turning complex agentic capabilities into usable tools.

The role emphasizes hands-on experience with LLMs, agentic workflows, and rigorous evaluation, with a culture of autonomy, learning, and high-quality engineering across an international, remote-friendly team.

Qualifications

• Strong production engineering experience with testable, maintainable software.
• Hands-on experience building agentic workflows or LLM-based systems.
• Ownership, judgement, and clear communication on frontier AI problems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and improve AI systems that support offensive security.
• Develop production-quality backend and interfaces for agents.
• Evaluate and benchmark labs and eval harnesses to measure performance.
• Contribute to Gen-AI features for consultants, such as chatbot interfaces and strategy ideation.
• Engage in applied AI research with regular research time and an unlimited training budget.
